will happen if we do not plant more trees? (e) Which months is suitable time
for planting trees in our country?
Tree Plantation
Tree plantation means planting more
trees in a planned way. It is very essential for our survival on earth. But we
are cutting down of trees recklessly and thereby endangering our own lives. The
world`s temperatures are getting warmer gradually. Plantation of trees is thus
a crying need of the time. Other than the aforesaid issue, trees come to our
help in many ways. Trees take carbon dioxide, give us oxygen and prevent air
pollution. They also give us shelter, shade, foods, fruits etc. They help our
environment in many ways. They prevent soil erosion. They make our land
fertile. They save us from droughts, floods, cyclones etc. They prevent our
region from becoming a desert. Without sufficient trees, there will be less
rainfall in the country. The climate will be hot. Different kinds of natural
disasters will come. People will suffer from the shortage of food, shade and
oxygen. Birds and animals will lose their habitats. There will be no ecological
balance. A country should have at least 25% forest lands. But there are no
sufficient forest lands in our country. So, necessary steps should be taken to
have more trees. People should be conscious about planting more trees. The mass
media like and radio can play a great role in this regard. To lead peaceful
lire, we have to plant more trees. In our country, July and August are the
suitable time for planting trees. During that time we should plant more and
more trees. If we do not plant more trees, our existence will be no longer in
the world.

separate two storied building. The library has a good collection. There are
many almirahs. The books are arranged on different shelves according to
subjects. The reading room and the office room of the librarian are separate.
There is a librarian in our school library. He is a nice man. There is a big
reading room. The reading room is well furnished when we take the help of a
catalogue; the librarian at once finds the book and helps us. We are issued
with library cards. We can borrow books from the library. We are to return the
borrowed books after two weeks. In the reading room we can read as many books
as we like. Silence is a must here. Nobody is allowed to make a noise. I am
proud of my school library.

Traffic Jam
Traffic jam is one of the most talked
problems in our country. Traffic jam means a long line of vehicles stuck in
jam. It is a common scene in big cities and towns. It has become a common
affair for city people. It has created a deplorable condition in our regular
life.
There are many causes of traffic jams.
Increasing the number of buses, trucks, auto rickshaws, rickshaws are the main
causes of traffic jams. Overpopulation is also a cause. This problem is getting
worse day by day. All classes of people are the victim by it.
On the other hand, the traffic control
system in our country is not developed. There have insufficient traffic police.
Drivers are also responsible for this problem. They have a lack of knowledge
about traffic rules. Drivers overtaking tendency and parking here and there are
one more causes of traffic jams.
It causes untold suffering to the
passengers and the movement of the vehicles. The problem can be solved by
taking some steps. Traffic rules should be imposed strictly. Our government
should establish more plans to solve the problem.
All of us should be sincere about this
problem to remove it. Public awareness is also needed to solve this problem.
A Tea Stall
A tea stall is a small shop where ready
tea with some dry foods is served to the customers. It is found in
marketplaces, at railway stations, launch ghats and every turn of roads and
highways. It is also found around offices, near hospitals, around mills and
factories as well as educational institutions. It is furnished with a few
tables, chairs or long benches. It is neither gorgeous nor luxurious. It is
rather an ordinary shop. There is a cash counter where the owner or manager
sits to handle the cash. Biscuits, cakes, bread, bananas, betel leaf,
cigarettes, etc. are sold here. One or more boys are employed here to serve tea
to the customers. It opens early in the morning and closes at late night. So
people can have tea there any time. Passengers, rickshaw pullers, officials,
laborers, passersby, students, political workers are the customers in a tea
stall. The customers come to a tea stall for tea, gossiping and relaxation.
Someone reads the newspaper, others discuss politics and other matters.
Sometimes people raise a storm over a cup of tea. A tea stall is an important
place because it is the most common haunt for the weary travelers, the tired
office assistants, laborers, rickshaw pullers and the students. As it is
visited by people of all age groups and of all walks of life, it should be neat
and clean.
Load Shedding
Load shedding is currently the most
discussed problem in Bangladesh. It has become a national crisis. There are
many causes of load shedding.
Firstly, inadequate generation of the
power supply is the main cause of load shedding. Secondly, the unplanned
distribution of electricity is also another cause. Thirdly, illegal connections
and artificial shortages of production are also responsible for load shedding.
Besides, stealing electricity in the pretext of system loss is another cause of
the problem.
There are many bad impacts of load
shedding. It creates problems that have far-reaching consequences on the
socioeconomic development of the country. It frustrates national, social, and
personal progress. Because of load shedding, the entire lifestyle both domestic
and industrial comes to a standstill. Domestic life becomes painful as the
housewives group in the dark kitchen. The factories, mills, and industries come to
a standstill. It hampers the normal productivity of mills and factories.
Students cannot continue their studies. Emergency medical treatment is badly
hampered. Medical patients may suffer terribly. The foods kept in refrigerators
get rotten because of load shedding. Load shedding helps criminals to commit
crimes in darkness.
Now the problem is going out of control
day by day. First, the government should come forward to solve this. It is
we human beings who are responsible for load shedding. The government
should set up more electricity plants to meet the demand for electricity.
We should not waste electricity.
Authority must disconnect illegal connections and fine the responsible persons.
The authority should also have a plan for the distribution of electricity.
A School Magazine
A school magazine is a kind of
periodical publication. It is such a magazine that contains the writings of
the students and the teachers of a school. It is a part and parcel of a school.
Almost every well-established school publishes a school magazine every year. It
reveals the creative genius of both students and teachers. Publishing a magazine
is not an easy task. At first, a committee is formed for publishing the
magazine. Then the committee asks the learners and the teachers to send their
writing. After that, the editor corrects the writing. They select the best
publishable writings. A school magazine contains short stories, poems, essays,
verses, jokes, riddles, and other writings related to studies, sports, and
cultural activities of the school. It often contains an album of photography. It
also contains messages from the headmaster, assistant headmaster, and the
chairman of the school managing committee. A school magazine can play a vital
role in improving the young learner’s habit of reading and writing. It can
develop the student’s interest in literature. It enhances their imagination and
develops their creative powers. It is a mirror of the school. It adds to the
glory and honor of the school.
A Day Labor
Day labor is a person who works all
day long for earning his living. He is a common figure in our society. He and
his family depend on his daily income. He does not have any permanent work. He
usually earns his daily living by doing hard work. He gets up early in the
morning and goes out in quest of work. He does different types of jobs such as
carrying bricks, wood, stones, mud and digging ponds, constructing roads,
buildings etc. He works hard from morning to evening. He gets his wages at the
end of the work. Then he goes to bazar to buy his daily necessities. He has to
work hard in various fields. He is always dependent on his employer. When he
earns a lot of money, he and his family can eat well. It is a happy day for them.
If he does not find any work, he and his family have to go without food. So the
life of a day labor is very miserable. Sorrows and sufferings are his constant
companions. He does not know what is joy and happiness. He earns his living by
working hard. Most of the time he is ill-paid and ill-treated in every sphere
of his life. In fact, the services of a day laborer play an important role in
our national life. So we should think about his rights and show respect to
them.
